Can I bring my pet to the hotel room? What does staying with a pet cost?
Some of our rooms are pet friendly. A small additional fee for a pet is €10 / accommodation.

Where can I park my car?
There are free parking spaces for our guests in front of the hotel.

Does the hotel have a restaurant?
We have a small café and breakfast room, no actual restaurant and no alcohol serving. The restaurants in the center of Jämsä are very close, a few hundred meters away, easily reachable on foot. On request, we can prepare dinner for groups, please contact us, and tell us your wishes.

Is it possible to grill sausages in the fireplace room of the sauna facilities?
Yes, you can. The rooms also have refrigerators for guests' own snacks. There is also a small common kitchen where you can cook your own food.

Is there a shuttle bus from Jämsä railway station to Himos?
During the ski season, some of Jämsä's buses also pass through the railway station. A bus stop is nearby, and a bus station is also within walking distance of the Gasthaus. Many buses, including the Onnibus, stop at the Himos stop along highway 9. Some of the buses go directly to Himos. Check out the schedules of Himos and Matkahuolto. Also ask for the phone numbers of Jämsä taxis at reception.

Is Jämsän Gasthaus suitable for people with reduced mobility?
Unfortunately, our hotel is not accessible in all respects. The building is old, on several floors, and does not have an elevator. The hotel has rooms downstairs that can be accessed directly from the outside. Ask for more information at the reception.

Do all rooms have their own toilet and shower?
The Standard and Apartment/Suite rooms have their own toilet and shower. The more affordable Economy Class rooms have shared toilet and shower facilities, for men and women separately.

Where can I do laundry or dry my clothes?
We have a small laundry room where you can do laundry and iron and dry clothes for a small extra fee.

Where can I rent a bicycle?
We also have bicycles for rent. Ask about availability and prices at reception.
